I guess so..... He said $1000 to plan it and do it and $500 If I had everything on paper on a sketch. He didn't have a clue about diesels and the guy who was gonna do it didn't know what a intercooler was......

ANYWAY, I have chosen to buy aluminum pipe from silicone intakes and weld them up myself. Should be here next week...

I think I might just leave em bare then.' And nope, I'm still waiting for the RTV to dry on the turbo drain tube I repaired. I'll probably give it another 18 hrs before starting it. Plus, I'm gonna grind the welds and blend it with a sandpaper grinding wheel. I am thinking I should just turn the fuel up now while its down. But then I won't see how much it cooled it. Oh well, Intercoolers have been proven already, I don't need to prove that they work again.

Looks really good bare. Probably one of the best Sidewinder setups I've seen yet. I got to get off my ars and inter-cool mine. Again, well done.

them welds cleaned right up nice.
so you lost about 2 lbs of boost, but gained about 20hp? (just my prediction......WAG is more like it.hahaha.nah,i have been researching.this is what it should do for ya,along with reduced EGT's of course.)
track your FE for a couple tanks now for me.

Yes yes I will, but I don't know what I was getting before so it wont help you much. I think after I turn up the fuel I might have a little more than 20 extra hp. Maybe 30??

and how did it effect turbo spool up time?

and no,to get that much more power freed up,you'd have to finally swap over to electric cooling fans lol.
