Door switches

Both of my door switches are shot. How do I get to them? Do I need to pull the glove box and instriment panel to get to the back side of them?

if you are talking of the courtesy light plungers, then they thread into the pillar with a deep socket. the wire wont twist because it rotates on contact points. there will be enough wire inside to pull it all the way out to unplug and put the new ones in. hope this helps
