How do you work on this motor

1951 ford john deere truck

I saw this and am speechless. Thought you folks might like to see for yourself.

I agree. Did you see the amount of wires on the firewall that I assume is running 12 volt conversion to run the a/c? How do you work on the motor with the a/c above the whole thing?

It has more wiring blocks than a 747.

A flathead you can't reach the plugs on. Who'd a thunk it? That back plug looks almost as bad as a '79 with a 351M. At least on the '79 you can reach it from below.

There really isn't anything to work on on the top of a flat-6, just plugs. Isn't that a GM A/C with a Ford control panel??

looks like a cluster to me ............... that thing hanging over the engine kills the simplistic beauty of working on one of these old girls in my opinion . it could've been done a whole lot better .

I think he could have found a larger AC unit if he'd looked a little longer.

I don't think it's a 6, there's 2 upper radiator hoses there. Wouldn't be that hard to remove and do differently.
