I have a 2006 Fx4 with 60,000 miles. I wanted to change the spark plugs myself yet i cant seem to find were they are in the engine, i know how to take them out but i dont know how to get to them. Help!

 

The plug change on our trucks is definitely not for the faint of heart. It typically takes an entire weekend, a special extraction tool -- for the inevitable broken plug(s) -- and patience. I tell most people to plan on it taking up an entire weekend, especially if you're presoaking the plugs with PB Blaster or something.

Please don't take any offense to this, but if you can't locate the plugs than this project may not be for you. Do a search on here and you'll find a hundred posts on changing our plugs. In fact, I put a step-by-step up about a year ago.
