OK, here's what I got....everything is off except the up-pipe and y-pipe. All three bolts came out piece of cake, and the IC tube is off, the air filter pipe is off, and the oil supply line is off, and the marmon clamps on the y-pipe and up-pipe are completely loosened but I can't get the turbo or either pipe to budge. What do I need to do?

I had to use a pry bar to lift the turbo from the passenger side. it slides down on the posts of the pedestal just right to make it so that you have to lift it straight up about an inch to get it over one of the bolt posts and then it'll come out. It's not easy but you just have to battle with it a bit. It's way worse going back in, took me a few hours to get mine back in...

Should the up-pip and y-pipe come out or do they just clamp flush?

they clamp flush most of the time but do what he said i always have had to pry mine up. little trick when installing the ypipe back onto the turbo use a ratchet strap on the ypipe and hook the other end to the p side somewhere and slowly ratchet it to the turbo. the pipe will fall right into place!

When you say the clamps are losend do you mean the bolts are lose or are the clamps floppy lose so you can move then around if not they have to be .

It came out. It was the pipes suctioned to the turbo that was holding it in. I took a flat head screwdriver and tapped it against the connections and they popped off and it came right out. Turbo tango wasn't bad at all either. Now how do I get the housing apart? Clamp is completely off and it is sealed TIGHT!

Hold it up by the upper section and tap the bottom section it gently! It will come apart easily.

Did you mark the position of the clamp and mark the two half's with a punch so they go back in the same way they came apart.

I marked the position of the housing and everything went back together pretty nicely. But I didn't think to mark the position of the clamp. Does it have to be precise? I can tell about where it goes from the pictures in the cleaning write-up though.

the housing mark is WAY more important than the location of the clamp....just put the clamp back in the same general direction/area.
