Rockwells. I think with the gearing you've got and the really tall tires, the D60 may not stand up well to too much abuse. Other than that, Chrome moly 35 spline shafts.
Here's for the u-joint and outer shafts.

Not sure what to say about the inner shafts. They are not usually the part that breaks.

What broke is the ears on the shafts where the u joint sits I would rather not go Rockwell cuz I don't think it will be streetable then

In that case a stock replacement inner shaft should work. I really don't know of any upgrades for that. The 35 spline outer shaft is a pretty common upgrade for the D60.

I've seen the 35 spline outers and chrome moly I'm just wondering if the chrome molys ears are stronger since I broke both inner and outer ears on both axles

I would assume so, but I couldn't tell you for sure. You could check on the 4x4 forum. There's a few guys there that have done it. They're not quite as friendly there, so watch your step.

I would definitly do the chromemolys along with re gear
Buddy of mine has an 01 F350 with 54'' tires, i forget his gearing but its 5.something and he bogs the thing all the time with not too many issues.

the ears are breaking off cause of the immense torque required to turn the 52s while bogging. with cromoly axles you probably will break them as well maybe not on the first run but it will get stressed out then break.

Haha I was thinking the same thing. Definitely not legal here not to mention you probably need hydraulic steering which also isn't legal. Just curious but how would stronger axles make it not streetable?

I know those tires wouldn't be legal here, but some would use them until they got caught. My 37's are already pushing the legal limit.

cromo's are stronger but not THAT much stronger. friend of mine broke cromo D60 shafts running 44's. granted he was into the stupid pedal, but thats kind of the point. i run cromo's in my bronco but only run 39's and feel very confident.
