1995 4X4

I just bought a 95 4X4 with a 351 that the bottom radiator hose that a T in it and goes in and out where the oil filter is. Is that a internal water pump? The truck runs 1500 RPM's at 60 MPH. Are these good trucks? I am the 3rd owner.235,000 miles. Nothing has been done to this motor. The Thermostat was a motor craft.I am putting a belt and new hoses on it now. The steering wheel beaning is bad . Will a 1992 ( not a 4X4) steering wheel column interchange? The 92 dose not have a air bag. THANKS.

can't really answer all your questions but for the steering colum it should for the most part be pretty much "bolt-'N-play" as far as the hard parts go, if your truck has airbag and the new steering wheel doesnt you may need to do something about the air bag equipment on your truck (as applicable) but i don't think that would be too much of a hassle...

That is an oil cooler. These are good trucks, yes. Easy to work on when things go wrong and love to get the job done for us. I like them for the no frills work truck look they have. Mine is just a work truck same as yours (250) with 113K on its ticker just plows and tows while hauling tools in its utility body. I have a toyo camry and a TC as my daily drivers. Gas savings helps me buy parts. I had a 95 F 350 7.3 PS also. It had low miles and rotted out beyond repair. She found a new home to rust at. SO, other then they like to rust in the north east, they are good girls . I dont know about the column swap.

Welcome to FTE. The hose youare talking aboutthe go to the oil filter are the oil cooler. As for the steering column I would try to find one for a 95 if yours has an air bag steering wheel.
