ok...what is this rat nest and do I need it?....and if not....what do I have to do to delete it. I live in WV and have no emissions here. Actually one of the tubes coming off the cat has been removed and the hole in the cat filled with weld. It seems that there is a lot of tubes going and coming from this mess, but doesnt seem to go anywhere but the exhaust,( i said seems that way). Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!

if you do a (advanced) search there is a ton of info on this stuff. depending on your year truck, your smog lines will also go to the back of your heads, that will need to be plugged. my 97 f250 hd smog lines went into my exhaust manifolds so they were deleted when i put on my long tubes. all the vacuum lines for the smog stuff got deleted also. then you will need to re route some lines from your egr, tab and tad sensors to the vacuum tree on the plenum. as for the shorter belt it depends on your configuration. i am running a 945k6 (94.5 inch 6 rib) on my 5.8
