Ive looked in manual and did a search, cant find how to reset oil life on the lcd productive screen.. changed oil at 3000 ml, now got 10000, changed oil again, but now getting the oil change due message every time key is turned on. can someone please HELP.. oh I found in the manual how to do it with the standard message center, but i have the up and down arrows and the left -rt arrows and ok in the middle
Don't have my truck in front of me but I believe if you scroll down the main menu (using steering wheel controls) to Settings, then Vehicle. There should be an Oil Life Reset in there. You can set it to New or set it to a specific percentage.
I found this in the manual:
To reset the oil monitoring system to 100% after each oil change,
perform the following:
1. Press and release the SETUP button to display “OIL LIFE XXX%
HOLD RESET = NEW”.
2. Press and hold the RESET button for two seconds and release to reset
the oil life to 100%.
Note: To change oil life 100% value to another value, proceed to Step 3.
3. Once “OIL LIFE SET TO XXX%” is displayed, release and press the
RESET button to change the oil life start value. Each release and press
will reduce the value by 10%.
