swap 1989 460 into a 1996 truck with 460
Are there any differences from the 1989 460 motor and the 1996 460 motor. I am looking to swap the 1996 out and put in the 1989 motor into the 1996 truck.

The heads are less desirable on the 89 than the 96...maybe a few other external changes like the ignition control but if you use the 96 externals anyway you should be good to go..it will bolt right in
