For Sale?

Ok...ok...ok....

I know I am supposed to list stuff in the classifieds thats for sale, but there is no section for entire trucks that I could see. I am helping my friend sell his F-1, just want to put the word out.

Take a look here: Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - Announcements in Forum : 1948 - 1960 F1, F100 & Larger F-Series Trucks

If I were you, I'd advertise it on CL, Ford Barn and HAMB. Advertising on FTE won't do you any good since that section is not very user friendly or attractive.

Ilya's right. Not to mention that, as NumberDummy says, most FTE members "don't have a pot to(urinate) in", and want Everything for Nothing, in the name of The Ford Truck Brotherhood! LOL!

In all fairness, I am one of those FTE members with little to my name which is why I am helping him sell it rather than buying it myself. I simply can't afford it. It's a nice truck and I honestly believe the price is good...just a bit over my head.

I got ya, I and many others are in about the same boat.I've been helped by members here, and try to help out when I'm able, and it is a sort of brotherhood.I just feel that some people EXPECT to be catered to,instead of paying their own way. It's the difference between a freewill gift, and a debt,I guess.

It's nice of you to do that for your friend, hope he gets a good price for the truck.

I follow...it's nothing like that. I am simply spreading the word to help a friend. He is a little older with no computer and no interest in getting one. The only thing he did was mention he was interested in selling, I offered the rest as a favor which he appreciated.

If this goes against the grain I can understand, but I would do no different for anyone else. Saturday I should be out to give it a bath and a photo shoot, should anyone be interested in seeing. I will email pictures to those interested unless it is OK to simply post them on the thread here?

Again, not trying to step on anyones toes or stretch my leash. I am just doing what I can to help a friend. If this is not acceptable I will simply let this thread drop into obscurity and put it up on a different site.
