Got the pistons last week. opened em up and 4 pistons were damaged and 2 oil rings were in pieces. All were packed well but they still managed to stuff em. So waiting on a new set from Clay. Done some more painting.

Pretty blue. While you've got the paint out you should also do the fan blades in blue

I could do each blade a different colour, then drop some acid and stare at it all day while its spinning.

I guess you do have a fair bit of time before your replacement pistons and rings come in!

the never ending story. Block and heads have been ready coming on 2 weeks now but cant seem to find anyone who can do the balancing. You need a heap of bob weights to do the job and the only one guy who has em wants $1600 for a job that should cost 500 tops. Speaking to Clay and low and behold he has a set of weights he had made up and offered to send them over on loan. Im telling ya you WILL NOT find a better bloke to deal with. I have lost count how many times this guy has helped me out. Remember the name Riffraff Diesel

When my tools arrived from clay to do my injectors i sent him a email to say i got them,he sent me an email asking me when can he ring me to talk about doing the injectors "unf#ckenbeleivable" so clay rang me and we had a chat for about half an hour..

I tell my freinds here in aussie and people at work and they shake their head saying why cant we get that service here in australia...

Whilst doing my injectors and replacing things in my engine bay could'nt help notice all the items with RIFFRAFF DEISEL on them, and not too mention all the RIFFRAFF stickers on my back window .... lol

I must say he's " one of a kind"...

Thanks clay...

another one of those RHD LHD things. Ended up ditching the mounting bracket and drilling the bracket that holds the MAP sensor
