My plan was to flip it too help fund my 52 project. Worked out well !!!!! LUV ME A F-1. With this money i plan on buying a TCI complete chassis. But before i do that i'm going to get some of the 52 body part ready [that can be seen in the pic.] by blasting and epoxy primered.

Dale,

I boxed up the parts today that we talked about. I'll get you a shipping quote tomorrow.

By the way, that hood is from a 51. Different front and holes on the sides for the trims. I have two decent 52 hoods, of which one will be kept for my 52, but the other will be sold. Let me know if you'd be interested in that hood.

You can also convert your 51 hood into a 52 by enlarging the left and right "nostrils" in the front to match the opening of the 52 front hood trim and drill additional holes in the sides to mount the 52 trim. In case you didn't know, the 51 hood had three "nostrils" in the front, while the 52 had two, with the center being covered. The openings on a 51 are also longer from side-to-side and shorter from top-to-bottom, than on a 52.

Take a look at the photos to help explain better.

This is what your 52 would look like with the unmodified 51 hood (as in my 52 Panel). You'll be able to see the extra metal behind the front hood trim.

Hey

Dale, how many trucks do you have? That looks like quite a herd!
