Whatt vehicle is it going into? Also so you're goal is a carbed 351w with a 5 spd. Correct. Well the engine mounts and towers need swapped. If its going into a previusly fuel injected 92 you will prolly have a number of electrical issues to fix.

Going backwards... too much to detail and too tedious to think about. Suffices to say you can just start yanking most of the electrical out because its not going to do you any good. Depending upon what ignition system you plan on using, you could need very little or you could need a harness for something as unreliable/prone to sudden inexplicable failures as a Duraspark or EEC-III (even rarer and more difficult to troubleshoot) system. But if you are going backwards you may as well go all the way back to points/condenser/vacuum advance so as to simplify things even further.

You will need 351 mounts for the model year of the frame you are going into. Flywheel for the 351. Radiator to handle the additional 51 cubes.

If you are parting with an EFI 300 complete with harness and computer, let me know, My brother is looking for one for his '76 Bronco.

sounds like you have a grounding issue. you would be better off selling what you have and getting a bronco with a 5.8 already in it.

the 300-6 is a great motor and honestly shouldnt be swapped out for anything in my opinion. they are not a very common setup so keep them intact.

See there's the problem. A GM part on a ford motor...

It does.sound like a fairly simple (but PITA to find) problem.

What makes you say fuel pump. You said you're replacing the computer freqeuntly...

Have you checked or replaced the fuel level sending unit/float? I don't think the comp is directly controlling the fuel gauge. I have been wrong before tho.

the computer doesnt take any info from the fuel tank. Now if the fuel pump wasnt producing the proper fuel pressure it could cause issue but again that isnt controlled by the computer but by vacume.

Just test it with a meter with the key on. That should tell hot wire. You made sure you have the correct diagram first?
