It was fun! Took my black e99 sc sb 7.3 over there. Beat a stock mustang,a 6.0 superduty,and redlighted on a 440 charger. I think I could of gotten the charger though the truck was running hard today. I red lit because the brakes wouldn't hold her back anymore. Pushed me over the line. Oh well,next year I will buy all day racing. What a blast!
It's my first year of going. It's basically ya pay either 5$ for three runs or 25$ for unlimited runs,and there's a 35$ king of the hill thing for the really fast cars. I believe its put on by Norfolk rod and custom. No money given out,just run who ya want as many times as ya want. I think its an 1/8th mile. Not sure I was getting up to 82 mph by the end. It was a fun and very cheap day,wish we could of stayed longer. It was too hot for the woman and my three year old. Ton o fun.
