6.0 Tranny Issue
My brother(ASE Mechanic for several years) put an EGR bypass kit on his 2005 Superduty 6.0 4x4. Now for some reason the Transmission will not engage in drive or reverse. It's throwing code P0720. Everything I've read on here indicated this will not keep the transmission from engaging. Transmission was fine before parking the truck to put the bypass kit on it. Hopefully somebody out there has had a similar experience and the fix is something simple. Any chance the output shaft is broken, coincidentally? Any thoughts?

Output shaft is broken. Truck drove fine when he parked it. Guess it's time for a new transmission..case is busted. Who has the best deal on a Reman Tranny right now?

Does your brother also have a tuner on his 6.0? If so, which one?
How many miles? When was the last time he flushed tranny? With what fluid?
