A naturally aspirated(non blower) engine operates with manifold vacuum not pressure, and as stated it would typically measure at about 18-20 in/Hg(inches of Mercury) or 60-67 kPa(kilo Pascals).

I know back when I used to fly naturally aspirated (non blower) engines in Beachcraft aircraft the gauge was labeled in the cockpit "manifold operating pressure".

Well.. that's wild, I wouldn't expect that from an industry that is generally known for being very technically correct. But maybe it's just a case of using the same gauge for both NA and blown engines.
