Any advice for leveling my truck?
my buddy's dad took a look at my truck the other day (hes a head mechanic at one of stealerships) just to look over stuff on my truck, scan it
etc (no codes!) i asked him about leveling my truck. My f150 has a 4 inch lifting coils and 3inch blocks in the back though there is a very
noticable stagger to it still. I figured this was because the rear leaf springs were replaced after the old ones fell apart puting the blocks in,
making it almost a 5 inch lift in the back. He said to get new coils in the front though the coils are not even a year old yet! so what I did was I
put the truck on solid pavement and measured from the center of the rim to the edge of the fender - 22'' in the front and 24.5'' out back.
What caught my eye was coil spring spacers.. I plan on getting 2" ones. Now is this a good idea? what would it take to install them? thanks!
