Does anyone know what this color is called? Anybody have a picture of a truck with this color? Know of any on-line paint chip pages?

Not sure what the name of the color is, but my truck is the blue color and purple color under florescant lighting and at night. Check out my gallery.

 

Your paint code will be on the driver's door or on the cab (by the door). It will give you 2 codes, they are usually letters such as YZ or something like that. Take those codes to a Ford Dealership and they will tell you what color it is and can supply you with touch-up paint (if thats what your looking for).

Most parts stores and even Wal-Mart have a book next to the automotive spray paint that lists all the codes that spray is available to match. It sounds like the same as my '96 parts truck.

just had some paint work done to mine and the body shop calls it saphire metalic
mine looks very purple and im constanly harrassed about it

it might change to black one of these days however the women love it

well i guess you guys have a different color of blue/ purple than me. i think i know what shade your talking about- i just don't know it's exact name. maybe somebody with a brochure for that year truck can help us out:-X12

My Bronco is this color also. Ford calls it Royal Blue CC Metallic. Paint code "LA"

Mine is this color too... i think so anyways... It's Bright Saphire and Light Opal (purple and silver to me)... looks blue / purple depending on how clean and the light its in... check out the pic in my gallery i have only ever seen one other truck the same color combination, most are either all purple... all purple with a silver lower stripe, or the opposite two tone as mine. kinda neat either way ya look at it i guess.... beauty is in the eye of the beerholder as i say

JA=Bright Saffire. This color isn't in the brochure, but is listed in the shop manual. The other two I posted are in the brochure so I knew what they looked like.

I don't see B7 anywhere. Is your truck a two-tone?

I tryed to tell people it's midnight blue or saphire metallic or something like that but the fact is that it's purple,,,
and I can accept that now.
