But I'm wondering if the part # is the same? I also have after market running lights on top and just want to make sure that the stock part will work. I haven't heard it called the headlight socket, but rather the running/head light relay...

I know this part is bad, it has melted years back and just now started giving me problems, the ground issue is resolved and it will not melt again.
