So if we are worried about rusting soft plugs, that is why we go with overkill. weld in the big plugs and you don't go back in , do it and forget about it.

I think stainless is too hard for soft plugs. My reason for not welding is so it can be returned to stock later if needed.

New EGR Delete Kit I just Found....

I put an EGR Delete on about a year ago on my F350 and it was the same as most, aluminum blockoff, with Stainless j-tube and up-pipe. I just ordered a new kit off ebay for my Excursion that uses a Stainless up pipe, but it has a zinc coated steel block-off plate.
