Not a truck question....But

I know this is for Ford trucks and all, But i trust ya'll and know you all know more then just ford trucks,

So other then my 55 f100, i drive around a 1990 plymoth acclaim. (rust bucket) the exhaust smokes, i leave a trail of smoke where ever i go, but this morning, on my way to work, i noticed white smoke coming from the hood, so i pulled over, and popped the hood, check the oil, didn't open the radiator, but the upper hose was fully pressured. check all fluids, looked over all wires i could see for a short. Couldn't find anything that would cause smoke. i closed the hood she started up and drove to work. not another smoke sign.

so im thinking either the wind blew my exhaust up, or there is something i dont know to check for.

thanks

What did it smell like? Maybe just a drop of oil hitting the exhaust manifold?

Did you drive through a puddle, or was it raining? Could have just been steam.
