steering column questions

hello everybody, first post-need some help. i have a 1989 f350 7.5l and i need a new steering coulumn. what if any other years are a direct fit as far as wiring harness, mounting and steering connection at the box. Mine is tilt with cruise control. thanks

Hey, I just responded to your email from my Craigslist ad. LOL I think your going to need a column from '84-'91.

well, it was hard to start, while turning the key to start i had to slam up on the steering wheel to get it to turn over. at the same time there was an old alarm system on the truck that was going on the fritz, so one day it wouldn't start and i got a little angry and slammed up on the steering wheel way to hard and broke the tilt so now the wheel floats up and down and i still have to slam it up to get it to start. its kinda dangerous driving it. i have since removed te old alarm
