Question Brake vibration??

Brand new member! Thanks for having me. Just got a "new to me" 08 5.4 250.

This is my first 3/4 ton. Can anyone tell me if this is a problem or just inexperience:

I am getting a subtle vibration when I brake (not ABS !!). No noise to speak of, just feel a rumble. I don't know much, but I know my 1/2 ton didn't do that. Could this be a problem, OR is it because the SD weighs an extra couple thousand lbs?

warped rotor, toss and replace. Need new pads to go with them or you will have issues all over again.

Check the slides on the calipers, if the calipers are putting unequal pressure on the pads and onto the rotors the rotors will warp and be funny.

Check the pads for unequal wear, if so replace the calipers too. Get new calipers and not refurbs or you will have the same problem in 15K miles.

also x3 on new rotors/pads

I'd replace both the front and rear rotors, just to be safe. When I replaced my brakes the first time (75K miles), I only replaced the front rotors, as the rear were "within spec". Brakes started pulsating again 5K miles later. Lived with it until I went and replaced the brakes at 130K. Replaced all 4 rotors with drilled/slotted. Did not want them to warp again.

be sure to spray new rotors with brake clean before installing. new rotors have a protective coating on them that must be removed
