1968 N600 king pin set info

Hey Bill. You recently decoded my warranty plate for me. I found when changing my wheels that the king pins were shot. My axle code was F2B, b for ford 5500lb front axle. With that info I ordered a king pin set from Northwestern auto supply in Grand Rapids MI. It was their last set. Part number K493 manufacturer TRW.
Just wanting to make sure they were indeed the right parts before I took it to the shop. Thanks for your help.

Thanks NumberDummy for the info! I had no doubt you decoded my warranty plate correctly. I was just hoping the parts house got me the correct set. With them not being original ford parts and all. I'm sure they are the correct one's.
Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us!
Hope to have them replaced within the next few weeks.

Axle seals (inner and outer) for F600

I've got a '62 F600 in need of the seals in the rear axle. The axle code is F1 which I believe is an Eaton 15,000 lb. axle. I can't seem to find the part numbers for the inner and outer oil seals. I thought I had a digital copy of the parts catalog but can't find it.

f600 front wheel bearings, shoes, ect.

Hey Number Dummy!
I'm in need of your knowledge again. Just lost the wheel bearing on the front of my truck on the way home. I'm trying to get as many part numbers for everything from outside of the backing plate. I think the spindle is ok, but not sure of the rest. Axle codes f2b.

Axle ID number: C4TA-3010-D & B in AXLE code = Ford front axle w/a 5,500 lbs. capacity.

I need to know the size of the front brake shoes. I may need more info, so please email me your phone number (sylhall@aol.com) and best time to call, we're in the same time zone.

Hello NumberDummy, (a misnomer if ever there was). I have a 1963 F600 grain truck and am trying to figure out what transmission it has in it. The trans code on the left door tag is J, it's a 5 speed, with a PTO on the drivers side for the dump bed.Numbers above the oil fill are 22716 with a tag below L-LK-EA, (I believe) . if they mean anything. This is all I know. A mechanic suggested over the phone, without seeing it, that it may be a Spicer 5 speed but I can't verify that. I believe it is original equipment however I know the engine (a 292 currently) was replaced at one time so who knows. Your help will be appreciated
