I have a 1983 Ford C-8000 with the Alison a/t. My temperature sensor sender went bad and I need to replace it. Do you have any idea what ford part number this would be?

quick question, I found what appears to be a COE/big-job, 1956. But I am not sure, any specifics that I should look for? I have pictures, if someone could post them for me, rather than photobucket.

I guess I should have said transmission temp sending sensor. Here is a picture. Cat 3208 non turbo engine. I believe it's the Alison MT653 automatic transmission.
It has "AIRPAX 8315" and "300 14-65" printed on it.

I need additional info: The 8th digit of the VIN and the TRANS code printed on the Certification Label.
Here's the pic. The switch is basic part number 10B921 (shown at lower right) .. but there are two different types.

Hi. I have an 84 F250 I am trying to put back on the road. The VIN is : 2FTEF26F3ECA99201. I tried contacting Ford and they tell me that this is not a valid VIN. It is on all the documents and appears to match the dash plate, but that has a bunch of junk on it that I can't get to yet, so it may be that the 0 is actually a 6. Any help or info is greatly appreciated. I admit that I have already gotten a bunch of good advice here. Thanks

Uh huh... It is valid, the IDIOT you spoke with at FoMoCo doesn't have a clue!

E = Class E, Hydraulic Brakes, 6,701-7,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.
F26 = F250 4WD Pickup.
F = 5.0L 2V (302) V8 engine.
3 = Check Digit, FoMoCo usage only.
E = 1984.
C = Oakville Ontario Canada Truck Assembly Plant.
A99201 = 1984 Numerical Sequence of Assembly, the trucks specific serial number.
Just because it was assembled in Canada...doesn't mean it was sold new there. Look on the Certification Label for the DSO code, post what it is.
DSO will decode to the Ford District Sales Office in the city/state (or providence) the truck was ordered from. DSO examples: 13 = NYC, 16 = Philly, 17 = WA D.C.
