WTB: injector line

Howdy y'all,

I am having a problem with my number 8 injector line on my 7.3 IDI. The PO stripped the crap out of the threads on my number 8 injector and as a result he fouled up the end of my injector line. I tried to file down the groove at the tip of the line but that didn't help any. It leaks a pool of fuel when I run her.

I am completely willing to buy a whole set of lines from someone so I can have some spares. I will NOT pay $40 online for one line and that seems ridiculous to me.

Shoot me an offer on just the number 8 or a whole set. I need these ASAP, IE yesterday. My truck has been down for 3 weeks and I need it 3 weeks ago. I am in Dallas, TX so the closer you are, the better. I will pay for faster shipping if you ACTUALLY ship it to me. I have been screwed for a lot of money online recently but I am willing to make a deal with an honest person.

-Tim

Try ebay. I have been thinking about buying a set just to have. Also take the line to a hydraulic line repair shop they may help. When my filter to pump line broke they gave me all of the parts to make a new 1.

Thanks guys. It looks like Oreo is going to help me out. Thanks, buddy.

What style connector do these lines use? I know they are compression connectors but what is the technical name? They almost look like the first stage if a double-flare.

What happens in 10 more years when a line breaks and no one has any spares? Can I make them somehow?
