The small diagram you posted shows the tensioner relief going down, or "clockwise". That doesn't seem right, even for a dual setup.
It also shows what appears to be an A/C compressor clutch below the tensioner. That would be for a gasser, not a diesel, wouldn't it?
I'd lift up on the breaker bar to relieve belt tension if the actual belt routing looks like the full diagrams given.

I just did this a few weeks ago. No lock on mine(or I didn't find it) Just follow the sticker under the hood. It's not bad with two people, but is nearly impossible alone. You have to keep moving from top to bottom of the truck and I kept knocking one section off putting the next on. Opening the new belt a few hours ahead of time and let all the kinks work out before hand makes it much easier.
