I am in So Cal and I might want a few small parts for my 1990 F-250 AND I might want a brake pedal for an F-450 1990

Any junk yard guys here want to make a couple of bucks or any tips on Ford TRUCK junkyards?

I don't know of any way down south, but I do know of Cordova Truck Dismantlers in Rancho Cordova. They are nothing but Ford and GM trucks. There is also Foothills Truck Dismantlers in Sacramento.

Ford Motor company owns MOST of the auto recycling in the USA under different names. Funny part its hard to find ford parts in most of them around here...

As Spock would say with one eyebrow arched skeptically high...

"Fascinating"

(On edit)

A web search reveals to me 2 instances of "Ford" buying or having yards/sold to them by a buisness. 1 blog from early 2001 & a buisness article from 1999. So yep, there is a factoid of truth to the above claim. It would fit with Ford's desire to utilize recycled materials in their products.

Carry on...

Greenleaf auto recycling is Ford, now its LKQ's name on the signs. They bought up all they yards here a few years back for size-able amounts. One they closed down and cleaned up the owner Danny ummm cant remember last name I think Werrler... anyways, had to sign a contract with ford he would not reopen for X years... Now he opened a yard that does auctions on cars to the yards from the ins. company's lol... its a good gig and adjacent to the old yard. LKQ is still big dog here and are coast to coast

LKQ link - LKQ IDK if they bought out ford or it still is ford
