Best way to change the rear axle gearing ( 3.93 ) swap out the ring and pinion or swap out the whole rear end....a little mileage
would be nice...

Any one know the cost of doing it either way.

 

i found it easier to swap the whole rear,,but then I would get a good unit and go through it at my pleasure..and do a swap at night or on the weekend ..do you have the dropout (9")rear in your truck ..if you do then it is a real easy swap out..I think you guy's call them pumpkin's...
