computer trouble?

Have a 93 f150 5.8.Cuts off after it gets hot and not start.Remove spout and runs fine.think this may be pcm? does any one know? thanks

Sounds like a likely culprit, but before jumping in with both feet check for any stored or KOEO codes.

rarely is it your computer. self test(dont use a fancy scanner)

If no codes are pulled, remove the computer, take apart and check for any burns.

Check the timing with the SPOUT out.
Someone may have set the timing with the SPOUT in.
