I had an email from Dave today and he said what Joe reported. He went on to say about 2 more weeks of double shifts and he may have time to slow down and drop back in.

Well friday i saw dave not only once but twice! Go 6 months with no word then i have to look at him twice and early in the morning at that. Not sure if its a blessing or a curse.

 

What did he say?

Oh he was cryin about workin late. Something about 18 hr days. Big baby.

 

Poor Baby. I have done that myself 7 16s and 7 18s suck.

Character Builders, well, I do not know. I watched my crew walk around like zombies after the forth week of it. It gets to the point where your body is just repeating the motion, your brain is nowhere near. I did it for 6 months and it took me three to recover when OSHA nailed their butts for it.

Oh damn, the money was good, very good, but I could not spend it. I had seven paycheks in my wallet one time. They took us to the bank and made us cash them. We had payroll and bookkeeping so screwed up by holding back. Getting over $16K at the bank was fasinating.

 

4 years later and he still hasn't logged in. He used to live in the IDI forum.

 

It's been a long time for sure... Kinda miss the old crowd. But people move on....

 

Agreed... I'm as guilty as anyone. I hardly get on here anymore

Around two years ago we bought a house and had another kid which really took away from other stuff. Hope everyone here's been doing ok.
