Stopped on my way home from work today and couldn't believe my eyes,hidden sorta in the bushes were some old trucks! So being curious George I climbed through the fence and wow I saw 3 Unibody trucks and a few more old slicks plus a fairly decent bumpside. One of the slicks even has a Merc tailgate ,pretty rough looking though! Now I just need to find out who owns them

Today I found out who owns the trucks ,now I just have to give him a call. I played ball against his kids when we were growing up many moons ago!

Ok I talked to the lady from the property and she says her sons own most of the trucks! She wants me to stop in after work on Monday to talk to her about which trucks I'm interested in (all of them lol) so lets see how I make out!

 

 

 

Truck Hoarders, i hear there is no cure.

 

Only trouble with them is they think they are going to fix and restore all of them. They wont part with any. You drive by 10 years later and they are all there still just rusting away. Shame.

The first one is a 63 right? exact truck i got but in a lot better shape!

 

Hard to tell what the first one is for sure. No grille in it. 61-63 for sure. LOL

 

1963 was the only year a Uni used that particular hood side emblem. It was first used in 1963, will also be found on all 1964's, but there are no Uni's after 1963.

1961/62 F Series trucks have hood side emblems that resemble spears. See pics 2 & 3 in post #8.
