6.2L Gas V8 versus ????????????

Okay, since it has been argued in the SD forum, here is a 6.2L V8 gasser versus "any engine" thread. Super08 suggested a thread like this and I think it's a great idea. Let it fly but let's keep things civil. It can be diesel, another gasser, etc. Either way, the V10 vs. PSD thread has been a very successful thread in the SD forum.

Let's do the same here.

Chicken!!!! LOL

I wonder how long before this one hits close to 1000 pages like the V10? I bet it takes a while. It will be a few years before it gets a loyal following like the V10 has.

As for the thread I was really just joking, but hey, who knows I might actually go somewhere.

The other side of the coin would be 6.2 vs 6.8. We know it does not have the brute torque the V10 has, but it may find it's own nitch with better fuel economy and the tow ratings are just as high with the new 6 speed backing it up. Mine with the 4.30's is good for a 15k fifth wheel which is the same as my V10 was give or take.

I actually had a thread on that a while back:

Feel free to re-hash it and liven it up.

Sorry about that....it's what I get for trying to post too many places at once.

I fixed it......try it now.

6.2 vs 6.2 is as far as I'll go.

For this one they both have to run the same type of fuel also.

Ok, 6.2 vs a chicken would be good too. Look, feathers everywhere.
