that pcm comes up as 94-95 302 with MAF and E4OD, probably a 60 pin

Yes, that is the correct one. A little pricey though.

Agreed -- they are all over priced... Lead head do think it would be cheaper / easier for him to use a mustang A9L or similar .. Since he's running a C6. ?

Leadhead thanks for input... still trying to find and ecm... I read you had used a moates quarter horse for tunning and data logging.. how did that work out for you? I am still very nervous about picking the right ecm I am definitely gonna use one of your recommend brains . But are any better then the other one ? I can not get a hold of rjm for the harness , is it very difficult to make my own harness . Do you happen to have the pictures of your completed maf conversion

Of all the computers I listed, one is not better than the other. The QuarterHorse worked out pretty good, but isn't really necessary if you plan on having another shop tune it for you.

The harness isn't too difficult to make, but you having experience with wiring, and the ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and schematics is greatly recommended.

I know this is a old thread but Just wanted to bump it u to see if anyone has something similar to my setup

96 F350 crewcab long bed
460, 5 speed
Banks Torque tubes, 3" exhaust
BBK throttle body, Taylor wires
Vortech SQ unit, Boot retard, and secondary fuel pump with FMU and adjustable FPR, A/F guage, Boost gauge and Fuel pressure gauge

While the truck runs OK, it is nothing to great

I make 6-8psi, 35psi fuel pressure at idle and 40psi driving.

Today I picked up a FULL 97 Cali MAF truck harness and all associated parts.

I am hoping the MAF and a good tun makes the truck more responsive
