2007 transmission cooler lines?

How do you get the trans lines out of the radiator?
I screwed the fittings out and finally got the radiator out, but on the new radiators these fittings are already in them? is it just an o ring fit?
I pulled on the lines a littel bit, but did not want to tug on it too hard.

these fittings

When you removed the transmission lines the first time, was there a special tool that you used? There's some kind of a lock on mine and I can't seem to be able to remove it without breaking it.

I just unscrewed the big ol fittings out of the trans cooler and when I did the trans cooler fell tothe bottom of the tank! I have looked and looked and can't find anything. Biggest ford site in existence and Boone knows how to take a tranny line off the radiator.
I'm pretty frustrated. I have posted this a few times and no one answers.....

Mine didn't have a lock. It had a little plastic clip that clipped into the grove on the bi g nut screwed into the radiator. I couldn't find any info or anything on the gasket behind that nut so I just went to home depot and bought some thick rubber washers and cut them to fit. It sealed up perfectly. Ford wanted to sell me a whole radiator to get the gaskets.
Turns out mine has a tiny pinhole somewhere in the fins on the drivers side of the radiator so I needed to take mine to a radiator shop or get a new one. BUT I can't do anything with the god moines still stuck into the radiator and none seems to know how they come out,.........

I found a brand new spectra 1 7/8 core on ebay for 125 free shipping! Couldnt pass that up. Im surprised that the ROUSH motor trucks didnt have the bigger radiator installed when the blower was being put on anyway.

Does it matter if you use the 1 inch or the 1 7/8? Originally, my truck has a 1 inch.
