Popping noise under feet while going over a bump

99 F350 4x4. I have a popping noise while going over a bump or sometimes when turning. You can feel it in your feet.

All of my steering components are new and tight, along with my track bar bracket.

Guys at the tire shop looked at it and said my swaybar bushings might be bad?

I crawled under it and four of the bolts that hold it to the frame were pretty loose so I tightened them. Popping noise did not go away. Any ideas what could cause this?

Bushings could definitely do it. Also, just double check that your hubs are not locked.

I checked my sway bar and replaced due to the same issues. I did not fix it. Now I am looking into body mounts that maybe causing the problem

I had that a while back , I went as far as to involve one of my friends to help find the clunk..

Turns out it was my Pintle hitch mount on the floor behind my seat rolling back & forth ...

Kind of embarrassing

Do you have a 2wd or 4wd if you have 2wd look for rocks yes i said rocks. My 2wd had a rock stuck between the fram bracket and the front wish bone link i think thats what you call it.Well anyway it goes from the front wishbone axle to the frame right about were your foot is.To get it out i had to jack the truck up and use a long screwdriver and long set of plyers just to get to it and get it out.And look real good cause i had the truck on a lift three times before i seen it and it was the size or a grape or a lil bigger good luck hope this helps.

Sorry for asking about 2wd or 4wd dont know how i missed that......

I have the exact same problem, I live on a dirt road in a rural area, and that's the only time I hear it, unless I hit a hole or large bump. I was told by shop it was my upper/lower ball joints, but I am thinking it might be my shocks. Gonna replace my shocks first, they have life time warranty, lol, and it's been quite a few years and mile snow, if I still hear it, then I am going to look into the ball joints.

I have the same noise. I changed all ball joints, tie rod ends, steering linkages and sway bar end links and did the shocks and still have the noise. I even changed the nylon spring pads under the springs to see if that would help. No luck with any of it good luck with yours.

Same here.(except for the nylon spring pads? and steering linkage)
Leaf spring bushings are next.

same hear, did the swaybar bushings and replaced the end links. Solved 1-popping noise, but anothers' still there. Gonna order the i-beam bushing kit and cab mounts too. Gets annoying after awhile. Feels like the seats are unbolted.
