Draw-tite front reciever on 2011, has anyone installed?

There are 2 airdam brackets/braces that appear to be in the way of the where the reciever brackets are to mount on the frame. I have one on order and of course i was told that it will fit. Just curious if anyone has already done it.
Reese appears to be the same design.

I want one myself, from what I've seen the only thing that has to be done is a cut in the plastic below the bumper. They say they are no drill and install easy.

Confirmed that Airdam reinforcement to be removed

I got an email back from Draw-Tite and it confirms removal of reinforcement brackets have to be removed. Cutting the plastic is not that big of a deal as I had to do the same on our Jeep front receiver. Measure twice cut once, right???

If the hitch fits into existing holes I would assume that the reinforcement brackets could be remounted.....

It's a width clearance issue

The hitch mounts to the outside of the frame rails in existing holes. The airdam brackets are u-shaped and the combined width for both sides add about 3/8" to 1/2" to overall width. Crawl up under the airdam and have a look, it may make more sense. I will keep you posted when it arrives and let you know how the install went. If the engineering/design department at Draw-Tite had accounted for the extra width or made the distance between the outer mounting brackets 1/2" wider, the airdam brackets could be retained. Go to Draw-Tite.com and look up part # 65049 install sheet. The illustration shows the bracket removal.
Hope this helps....

Don't forget to add pics of the install, looking to do the same thing.
