2011 oem parts?

I am looking for a bed extender and the black step rails for my 2011 FX4 super crew. who has the best prices? my dealer wants wayyyy more than ford's build price. The build price is 250 for a bed extender, my dealer wants 350 ish plus tax. I will pay 250 but not 350.

The parts prices at the parts counter will always be higher than what they would be if included with the vehicle. It's been that way since grandma was a gal.

But, there are price gouging snakes out there that jack the MSRP up...some waaay up.

NumberDummy is right on that one. Parts/Options will always be the cheapest when built with the vehicle. Add it on later and your going to pay more.

The bed extender is part number 9L3Z-99286A40-C and carries a MSRP of $365.00. FYI... Dealer cost on this part is over $250.

Type that 9L3Z part number into Ed's site...it sez: No parts found. I was going to list Ed's discount price for the puppy, but no can do.

If you type it into the in-house FoMoCo parts locator system, the number comes up, but no PDC has any. There is no superceded part number listed either.

FYI: Dealer net is over $250, but not by much.

The going rate for those is about $300, just FYI. While I usually use Ed, because of shipping charges from west coast to east coast I found it cheaper at TascaParts.com
They are 10% over cost plus shipping.
