Stalling

Guys,
recently completed the DP Tuner, Gauges, TE500 and Fuel Bowl rebuild and have a stalling issue. I has happened to me twice this week in the mornings (avg temp 50 - 60*). I am running in 80Econo mode and the first time it happened I was pretty hard on the throttle and backed off coming up to a Red Light with minimal brake application and the truck stalled approx when I was under 10mph. It also happened this morning when I was going easy on the throttle coming up to a red light and stalled with med brake application when I was almost to a stop. The truck turns over just fine once put into park and drives after that with no issues. No CEL and temps look good while I am driving before and after issue. Could this be a sign that the fuel pump is going out?
Please help as I have a huge trip planned this weekend pulling my trailer.
Thanks,

hey man i would try the CPS they are not un-common to go out even if recently replaced. My truck would do it about every couple months and steadily got worse, it was weird because normally they either work or they don't, i replaced it and never had another problem

figured it might be the CPS, but I just thought when they failed it was done for good and was not intermittent... I will get one down here asap (I think Guzzle still has some "black" CPS's)...

Clay may still have a few black CPS's as well, that's where I'd start. Also make sure your chip is fully seated on the PCM and snug, not wiggling around.

Thanks,
How many miles with the TE500?, maybe you still have some air in the system, just a guess.
BTW the CPS failure could be intermittent

X2 On trying the CPS. When mine went bad it was very intermittent. Would run like a scalded dog all day sometimes then just go ka-put. It didn't turn the CEL on, but when I checked the codes with my Superchips it brought up the CPS.

Jose,
I have apporx 300mi on the TE500. Never had any issues with air in the system from the first start. It fired right up. I saw a post from a few weeks ago claiming the International CPS was approx $25 (from them) but I notice Clay & Guzzle have them for ~$50... whats with that? have not verified with international yet. Also noticed on Guzzle's site there is a recall on the "black" CPS. Anyone have any other info on this? see last paragraph on his site...

I hear that, only problem is I need this part ASAP and will have to pay $40-$50 to get it here next day. I love spending as much on shipping as the parts cost!!!

any issues with the Grey CPS's? The parts guy just told me they are R&R the Black CPS with the Grey and I can pick one of those up from him (grey) for ~$28. This is much more affordable for me right now; I could buy 2 of the Grey CPS for what I would pay for 1 Black without the shipping rates.

The gray one will work in a pinch, I wouldn't trust it long term though.
