1977 f 100 not charging battery
i replaced the altenater ,voltage regulater ,cylinode,battery and also checked the wiring to make sure there where no shorts inbetween i checked the fuses also.does anyone no where i can get a EASY TO READ wiring diagram for the charging system on a 77 f 100 .4.9 straight six..i would also like if someone would take a photo of how the wiring on there altenater looks..and does anyone have a idea of what the small cylinder shaped item is that mounts on the lower bolt of the voltage regulater...MY BATTERY IS NOT CHARGING ...

Have you tried measuring the voltage across the battery while the engine is running? There are some tests we can do while doing this to help pinpoint the problem. It's very difficult to solve electrical problems without the proper tools - in this case a multimeter. Much the same way that you can't measure anything without a ruler.
