Hi everyone and thanks for having me!! Was out plowing with my ranger and the drivers side front locking hub started to make a nasty grinding noise.Had to get it off the road was a snow storm took about a mile went slow took out of 4 wheel drive got it off road locking hub where you change from lock/free was gone?Drove it home in 2 wheel drive slow made a little noise but not bad.What kind of a job to fix?Cost?Anyone have a diagram for it?Thank you in advance.Dave.

 

First you need to pull the caliper and rotor, and check the wheel bearings, and look for other signs of damage.
