Post 1993 E350

I looked at a 1993 E350 today which was in great shape. Mileage is at 128K. I noticed that there is a oil leak coming from the pan. The leak seemed to be coming from the rear sides and dripping from the drain plug. Also, the oil pressure guage did not move from zero at idle and during a test drive. What is the best way to replace the pan? Should I also replace the oil pump? Limited budget would force me to do the repair in the garage with a floor jack. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks....

the pan gasket isnt too bad to change, but front and rear main seals can be a bugger. i wouldnt change the oil pump until you put a mechanical gauge on it to see exactly what you have. if the pressure is no good, when you replace the pump, make sure you clean the pickup screen, too.
