Question Best Wiper Blades?

Hey guys, does anyone know where to get some really good wiper blades or "Refills" for our old '56 F100's? I actually have '57 Ford car wiper arms on my truck but have truck blades on them. I hate driving in the rain, and would like to have some good wiper blades. I finally got them to working but would like to have something like they have for late model cars, but they dont have them for these short stubby arms. Any suggestions?? Whats everyone else doing?

Wiper blades? rain? What are these things you speak of??

Out here in the desert there is no such thing as a good wiper blade, You buy some, you install them, and before it ever rains they are dry rotted and falling apart.

Rain-X works just fine for me

I've got an F1, and bought blades from LMC. They can't be refilled, you must replace the entire unit. I noticed that they shook quite a bit on the highway as the bracket that fastens them to the arm is only slot and tabbed on. I JB welded it and no more shake. I would like to see some other options however. NAPA doesn't list them online.

Wiper blades? We don't need no stinkin' wiper blades!

Seriously, Rain-x works better. I have wiper blades only for state inspection but when it rains I depend on RAIN-X!

Yep, now-a-days you can't buy a wiper blade that will last for more than a month or two before it either doesn't wipe or chatters across the glass. I second the Rain-X, I have used it for years. If I don't have any and see that I'm gonna get caught out in the rain, I'll hit the nearest carwash and spray the windshield with wax

Yep, thats about what I thought. Good wipers dont exist for our trucks. I'm back to Rain X for sure I'm goin to get another bottle just in case. The wipers pooped out on me on the way home last year and nearly fell off. I've got almost 1,000 dollars in wipers now and they still aint that great. The first time I tried to "save" money by makin my own setup and wasted ALOT of money. Then ended up buyin the kit from Specialty Power Windows. The kit is "ok" but the wiper arms are not that great and the blades are even less than that. I was hoping to adapt somthing like Rain X lattitude wipers to them, but they dont make them that short. Thanks guys. Anyway, if anyone has found any good suggestions for GOOD blades for these things please post the source

Terry,
I got mine from Carquest they work very well; I don't have the number for the arms but the blades are 33-122 Trico Class Wiper blades.
