Ed is a sponsor here. Based out of WA State I believe, could be Oregon. His prices are usually better than Tasca's, but shipping can be a killer depending on where you live.

You also might want to try ebay, or just a Google search.

i found the same thing relative to shipping. part price was great, shipping was the killer. adding on the shipping cost got me within a couple bucks of the dealer. so i just went to the dealer got the parts quicker and it is easier to deal with if there are issues.

I've used Ed's prices to help negotiate lower prices at my local dealer. Usually they will meet me half way between their retail and Ed's price, which almost always beats Ed + shipping. Sucks being all way the across the country from Ed, he's been a big help for me in finding part #s.

Damn, caught!
In my case, Ed was much cheaper, but overnight shipping was crazy expensive, and I needed the window switches the next day. At least I kept it in the Ford family, right??
Haha, no hard feelings Ed. Glad to see you back up and running!

Your worst fears are about to be realized. "She, who must be obeyed" has a confab in Seattle July 22/29. WE are gonna come up the week before, do the tourist thing.

I'm gonna swing on by and rattle your cage, might even buy a part or two for my new elephantine behemouth.

In 1987, I had a Town Car r/rear door taken from the assembly line (it was on back order: D99 ) flown overnight to Santa Monica. The cost to ship the puppy was more than the net cost of the door.

Someone had left the r/r door open, then backed the car up. The door hit a tree, bent it all to hell. The reason I was able to get the puppy from the line: This was President Reagan's personal Lincoln.

Ford Parts Best Place to Buy

I always buy my Ford Parts from www.fordpartsoem.com. They always have what I have needed for my 2005 F-150 Lariat at the best prices that I have found online.

For the mirror that you are looking for, I would just call them at 800-266-6573. I just save their number in my phone, ask for their online price, and have them either send me a link to check out online or I just use their online catalog. Either way they are extremely helpful.

Hope this helps you.

Where is the best place to buy Ford oem parts?

One other great resource to submit questions and parts advice is to go to www.fordcarandtruckparts.com.

They have a blog that is very helpful; and you can submit questions on their contact form straight to a Ford dealership.
