Ebay Brush Guard: Is this a trap?
I'll hold off on my usual Admiral Ackbar youtube video unless requested.
Anyway I'm looking to finally get a brush guard for my truck and my search on ebay has turned up this: Ford 97-04 f-150/Expedition 4x4 Grille Brush Guard B | eBay
and this: 2003 Ford F150 / Expedition 4X4 4WD Brush Guard 97-04 on eBay!
Same seller Truck Gear Direct different prices both look like Aries or Westin Sportsman copies.
Has anyone done business with these guys?
Has anyone heard of "Hunter grille guard"?

I would agree, thats what feedback is for on eBay, but you have to know how the seller ratings work. A feedback rating of less than 99% is poor, it means that at least one person in every hundred feels cheated enough to report a negative feedback. One can be sure that those who have even that much negative feedback also have lots of neutral feedback, so your chances are between 1:10 to 1:20 of having a less than satisfactory transaction with a 98% feedback rating.
If you stick with 99% positive or better, it means the seller has a good reputation.

I'll keep looking but I may not buy through these guys after all.
I'll keep you guys posted on what I do.

Well I just laid down $345 including shipping for a Aries Off-Road Brush Guard from Discount hitch and truck accessories. I manually called the order in instead of going through the website and I have so far nothing to complain about the customer service.
I'm hoping the guard will be in no later than the 27th and I will hopefully pending no issues have installed and wired up with my lights before the 4th July.
