Can I delete or change my factory keyless entry code on my '04 F150 Supercrew? My owners manual says that even if I do change it, someone can use the factory code to get in... problem is, too many folks know the factory code.

 

How do so many know the factory code?

I know you can change the code to whatever you want however the factory code will always be able to override that. You may be able to get the dealer to flash your truck to have a different factory code but I'm not sure if that's even possible.

 

Those that know my code are kids (teens) in the family that think it's cool to sit in my truck when I'm not home. I'm trying to lock them out!

 

Is there a fuse on that circuit - if so then pull it. If not, disconnect the battery, that will stop them. I think the master code is in the ECM, worst case then change that out if it can't be changed via a flash.
