John,

I don't have a dash bezel but I am looking to fabricate a gauge pod setup on my dash also. I've been looking into making it with fiberglass and 2" pvc pipe. I'm planning on having 9 gauges and really didn't want to have them all over the place. Would love to compare notes with you as you get into it.

snakedoc,

That is almost exactly what I had in mind too. I'm still deciding if I'm going to mold it onto the bezel or make something that attaches to the main dash and comes over the bezel. I in the middle of doing a ball joint / axles seal job so that is going to be the next project to work on. Don't have all the gauges yet want someplace to put them when I have them that's right in front of me so it they alert, i don't miss anything.

i had plained to mold mine to it and cut out the back bottom of the holes so the gauges will set back in it, and it would hide the wires. but first i have to buy some gauges. good luck on the ball joints i just did mine last week.

Thanks, wound up blowing apart one of my new u-joints and destroyed both differential oil seals so work has come to a stop until the new parts (and seal install tool) show up. Now that I know how to correctly do the u-joints, i won't break anymore

I'll post my list but keep in mind, this is my list, and everyone can add as many or none to their truck (aka: i don't want to get into a gauge list / function discussion on this thread)

Trans Temp
Water Temp
Oil Temp
Oil Pressure
EGT
HPOP pressure
Fuel Pressure
Boost
Coolant Pressure

I am thinking about trans temp, but everything else will have symptoms if something is wrong, so I don't need a gauge.

trans is a must it is 100+ down here so it will kill a trans if you dont watch it. i like the egts just to see that they dont get to high i pull around 10000lbs and dont wont to burn up the heads. boost and fuel for fun.
