May I ask your source for buying Schaeffer's. I've heard good things about theor products. Are they not a smaller home grown style company?

Give them a call. There are reps all over the country. They don't post them on their website.

Unless you have a local dealer, than buy from him.

They have to sell like 40k in products every 6 months.

A little bummed myself... Had the Schaffers rep (frequesnts the site F350*** or something like that) looking into it and he passed my info along and I never got a call. Got my hands on 3gal of the 7k so I just need 1 more ASAP to complete the oil change before my big trip this weekend.

Thanks for the info!!! Q though... Would it be bad if I used the 3 Gal Schaffers 7000 and a Gal of Shell Rotella? Happen to have it in the garage already and really don't want to pay shipping from Texas...

I would avoid mixing shaeffers with other oils unless it was an emergency.

Sorry, been off line for awhile. I'm lucky and have a dealer in my home town in AZ. When I'm traveling I take an extra five gallons along!

Glenn also takes 15 dogs, 2 cats, a backup wife, a backup truck and trailer, a backup motor, and 4 backup transmissions. 3 swimming pools.

Where the hell you fit all this stuff glen? Do you have a Tardis?
