shes had a short but good life.....

well everyone, i believe my tranny is near the end, i have not the money to fix or replace...and i got a blazer inhereted to me also that needs its share of work....id hate to take my baby to the crushers, especially after putting an alternater in her last week, but shes on life suppot....not much time left, as soon as im done putting brake booster in blazer and trading rims n tires (235-70-15 with 235-75-15xl)im prolly gonna put her on craigslist or crush her....what a shame i loved her for the 6months and 3000 miles i had her for.........i finally have pics in my gallery, still cant get them to load off of photobucket...lol, so this very well may be the last everyone hears from me, as i will be off to the chevy..............blazer forums....(i am NOT excited about that) well i guess my last question is will the rims be able to swap? thanks everyone!

ouch man, personially id be putting the chubby blazer up for sale/CL and use the $$$ on the truck....if you really must send the truck to a pull a part yard, at least there the truck will have a better chance of living its life out in other trucks....

Your going to crush it just cause it needs a transmission??

Sell that chebby and get a used transmission.

No the wheels wont swap between the two.

unless the chevy was givin to you by family and dumping it would cause problems, i would crush the blazer, theres a freshly rebuilt e40d on cl here for $395 (not sure what trans you have, thats just for the sake of conversation) you should easily be able get that from scrap

You're only going to get about $400 to $500 out of scrapping it. So if you're really that attached to the truck, just hang onto it. Unless you desperately need the money.

If the transmission is really shot, now's a good time to learn to rebuild them if you have another driving vehicle. Or take a few months to save the cash and search for a good used one. Just a thought. Do what you like
